Gripfill PVA Wood Adhesive 1 litre

A ready-to-use wood adhesive that is fast setting and water-resistant. Suitable for use on all woods,
Gripfill Wood Adhesives drytranslucent and can be polished or painted. Conforming to BS EN 204 Category
D3, Gripfill Wood Adhesives are suitable for use in applications where joints may be exposed to
short term water contact or high humidity, e.g. kitchen work surfaces, window frames, doors and stairs.
(n.b. It is not suitable for use on joints that are continually wet or immersed in water.)
Gripfill Wood Adhesives bond strength meets the requirements of BS 4071.
The wood must be clean, dry, free from surface contaminants and uncoated i.e.
with paint, varnish etc. Any surface coatings should be completely removed by sanding.
Surfaces to be bonded must be close fitting. (If not use Gripfill gap-filling adhesive.)
Apply evenly to one surface, if required, spread with a brush or notched spreader. With tenon/dowel
work, apply the adhesive directly into the hole to ensure optimum contact as the bond is made.
Bond together immediately and apply moderate pressure to keep the surfaces in contact until
the adhesive has dried.Suitable for use in temperatures
between 7oC and 30oC.

Flammability: Non Flammable
Skin Contact: Occasional contact is unlikely to have an adverse effect except on particularly sensitive skin. As a general precaution avoid repeated or prolonged contact. Remove skin contamination whilst
still wet using water. Use proprietary hand cleaner if the product has dried.
Eye Contact: Although no serious problems are likely to be caused, eyes are a sensitive area and contact should be avoided. In the event of accidental contact, irrigate immediately with plenty of clean,
cold water and obtain medical attention.
Inhalation: No major hazard, nevertheless use in a well-ventilated area. In the unlikely event of discomfort as a result of inhalation, remove the person to fresh air.
Oral Ingestion: With proper handling this should not occur. The possibility can be minimised by not consuming food in the working area and by washing hands thoroughly before eating, drinking and
smoking.
Spillage: Spilt liquid should be mopped up immediately with an inert absorbent material such as sand, and disposed of in accordance with regulations.
Disposal of Containers: Do not leave empty containers on site where residue could be a hazard to children, animals or the environment. Remove to a central disposal point.
Storage: 12 months under good storage conditions, in original, unopened containers. Keep out of direct sunlight at temperatures between 5oC and 30oC.
