Tuplex underlay 3mm (CUT SECTION)

Tuplex comprises of two layers of solid polythene with flexible polystyrene granules sandwiched between them. Its flexible construction helps to smooth minor irregularities of the subfloor and provides an ideal base for a floating hard floor. Tuplex's granular beaded construction creates space between the floorboards and the subfloor, allowing for efficient ventilation. A two ply polythene film provides a highly effective, double moisture barrier, so no separate moisture barrier is required. A test report is available from the manufacturer. Product Information
Lay out Tuplex underlay so that the seams touch and overlap, do not tape. Cover the entire floor area and run the underlay up the perimeter walls approximately 4 cm; this will provide a secure enclosure for the flooring. After the floor is installed and before the baseboards are put on, the excess underlay should be trimmed to the height of the floor surface with a fine trimming blade. Price per sqm: £1.91 (Exc.
