Kährs Activity 30 mm Floors

Kährs Activity Floor is 30 mm thick and has an extra layer of wood within its construction. This fourth layer is an absorption layer, using several layers of polyethylene and polyether which provide the correct energy absorption qualities.

The floor is approved for the global standard for sports floors - DIN - and is used at major sporting events, such as the FISAF World and European Aerobics Championships.

Number of layers: 4. Veneer base, pine and spruce core lamellae and hardwood surface layer. Absorption layer made from several layers of polyethylene and polyether with progressive hardness, for correct energy absorption relative to loading.
Surface layer: approx. 3.5 mm
Installation: To be installed floating on a level, solid surface such as concrete, particleboard or wood.
Can be sanded: 3-4 times

Kahrs Activity Floor Oak Satin Lac (1.94sqm) Ref: KAFLOAK

Oak is a brown to dark brown species. White sapwood. Distinct graining and visible medullary rays. Oak Activity Floor is a grade with large colour variations. May include sapwood and moderate knots.

Beech is a species with a light yellowish-brown to reddish-brown colour. The heartwood is reddish-brown and has very discreet graining. Beech reacts more than other species to variations in indoor climate.

Hard Maple is a light yellowish-brown to dark yellowish-brown species. Graining in thin streaks. Hard Maple reacts more than other species to variations in indoor climate. Hard Maple Activity Floor is a grade with minor colour variations.
