Pads are mainly used with buffing machines for the cleaning and oil treatment of wooden floors or functioning as an underlay for screens, cloths and rags. The color of the pad tells how aggressive it is depending on the amount of abrasive content: White and Tan 0%, Red 10%, Green 35%.

- White - buffing oil, underlay
- Tan - coarser buffing, cleaning
- Red - cleaning, oil application
- Green - coarse cleaning
